Belt Software Inc. ("Belt," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Noodle desktop application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our products and services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization details. If you buy credits, payment details are collected and processed by our payment processor (Stripe); Belt does not store card numbers.

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage analytics to improve our products, including feature usage patterns, performance metrics, and error reports. We use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand website traffic and product engagement; you can decline non-essential cookies on this site.

Email Data

Noodle stores your emails, call transcripts and CRM records in an encrypted database on your device. When Noodle analyses a deal, the text needed for that analysis is sent to Belt AI, which forwards it to an AI model provider under terms that prohibit training on your content, and returns the result; prompts and results are not stored by Belt beyond what is needed to complete and meter the request. If you configure your own AI provider key, that text is sent to your provider instead, under your agreement with them. Belt keeps a usage ledger (token counts, model, feature and cost) so you can see what you were charged; the ledger never contains email or call content.

Your email data, call transcripts, contacts and CRM records are stored locally on your device. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect any data transmitted to our servers, including encryption in transit and at rest.

We may share information with third-party service providers that assist us in operating our services, including:

• Google Analytics — for website analytics
• LLM Providers — when you use AI features (configurable by you)

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Local data on your device is under your control and can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the application or clearing local data.

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
